March 21, 2011 - New York, NY. - Zokem and Cint announce a new partnership to reach a larger number of smartphone users for market research purposes in the US and other key mobile markets.
The goal is to create the world's leading multi-purpose smartphone research panels to provide frequent insights on hot topics such as usage of apps, web, media, games and mobile commerce. The collaboration between Zokem, leader in on-device metering for market research, and Cint, global research software and service provider, will help to increase the reach of Zokem’s Mobile Life smartphone panels across Western markets.
The plan centrally involves using Cint’s smartphone technology Thumbspeak, a DIY mobile relationship marketing platform, to attract more smartphone owners to the Zokem panels. This combination pioneers a new way of recruiting and managing mobile panels by using Zokem’s Mobile Media Tracker technology and associated analytics for publishing frequent takeaways from the engaged mobile audience.
”The whole media industry requires more precise, reliable and comprehensive analytics to plan mobile ad spending, for example, which apps should be targeted in the next advertising budgets. Through our smartphone research panels we are able to provide the market with this information with high granularity. The collaboration with Cint is very valuable to us, and the new partnership enables us to deliver our analytics to an increasing number of markets” says Hannu Verkasalo, CEO of Zokem.
Oscar Carlsson, Head of Business Development at Cint, adds: “Partnering with Zokem offers an extra dimension to bringing insights from the mobile audience. With Thumbspeak’s broad reach and access to survey data and Zokem’s mobile analytics we can give our clients both the tools and insights to understand the fast growing mobile market.”
